During my recent stay at South Barlogan Farm, I was pleasantly surprised by the convenience of the location. It was just a short distance from my daughter's home, which made it easy for us to spend quality time together. The villa itself was spacious and allowed us to comfortably bond with our grandchildren. Additionally, I must mention how approachable and accommodating Colene was as a host. She even went above and beyond by providing a new BBQ for us to enjoy. The thoughtfulness and effort put into making our stay special was truly remarkable.
Although my stay was wonderful, I did experience a couple of minor drawbacks. The WiFi would occasionally go out, mainly because we were indoors more often due to the weather.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at South Barlogan Farm Villa and it was truly a delightful experience. The location of the cottage was absolutely stunning, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. I was amazed by the variety of animals on the farm, from cats and dogs to chickens, horses, and alpacas. It was such a joy to interact with them during my stay. The cottage itself was immaculately clean and comfortable, providing the perfect retreat for me. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack and the fresh milk in the fridge. Colene, the host, went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. She even arranged for her son to drive me to a local restaurant and pick me up later, which was a kind gesture. This accommodation served as a perfect base for exploring the beautiful countryside, including the Isle of Bute and Cumbrae. I even had the opportunity to feed the alpacas their breakfast, which was a unique and memorable experience. I would highly recommend South Barlogan Farm Villa for a tranquil and unforgettable getaway.

Located conveniently close to our daughter's home in Johnstone, South Barlogan Farm offers a roomy and comfortable cottage for families with kids. The owner, Colene, is friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The stunning location with picturesque scenery adds to the charm. The presence of friendly animals like cats, dogs, chickens, horses, and alpacas provide a unique and enjoyable experience for the kids.
The dining room chairs could be more comfortable, lacking back support for extended card game sessions.

The location was stunning with beautiful scenery and friendly animals. The staff, Colene and her husband, were welcoming and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
One small thing that could make the breakfast selection better is to offer a wider variety of pastries.
